Discover the secrets of choosing a complementary wine and cheese combination, while visiting some of Adelaide's best venues.
Time: Weekly, Saturday 2pm
Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Corner of TBA and TBA
Cheese and wine together are a culinary combination made in heaven, but with so many cheeses varying in texture and flavour, and so many wines of varying aromas and bouquet, it can be difficult to find the right combination.
We have it covered for you on this three hour walking tour around the Adelaide CBD. You'll have your own guide to educate you as you visit numerous venues specialising in wine and artisan cheeses. Whether you're sipping on a sweet or acidic wine, eating a strong or mild cheese, this tour will teach you how to pick cheeses and wines that always complement one another.
Join us on a tour that celebrates two of life's greatest pleasures, cheese and wine!
Please note this tour is for people aged 18 years and above only.
You’ll also have the opportunity to sample wine and cheese from the venues, and learn how each is made and how these affect its characteristics.
There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
Tour price includes some wine and cheese samples.
All participants must be over 18 years of age.

The Healthy Food Trail was well organised. It was a treat to be guided around Northbridge by a friendly host and to sample the delicious dishes awaiting us at each café. I felt like I'd had a progressive lunch and I was satisfied with the amount of food. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon with friends. I'd highly recommend this tour. 4/5 by Janet Whitfield Healthy Food Trail 11-10-2017
Found places I would never located on my own. 5/5 by Helen Falconer Healthy Food Trail 29-8-2017
I thought Danielle was a terrific tour guide, she was friendly, pleasant and informative. She'd obviously knew what she was talking about.
It is a great way to get out and see what other places are out there to eat at and who have a conscious understanding that food is meant to be nourishing. We have a society and culture where food makes you sick and we have to learn our way out of it.
It was accessible tour cost wise so ok value for money. Certainly had enough to eat and drink to sustain the walk. 5/5 by Jo Flynn Healthy Food Trail 28-8-2017
