Returning in Winter 2018

Time: Monthly, Saturday 2 pm

Knitting is a craft that has withstood the test of time because it is versatile, practical and easy to learn. It is also a relaxing social activity and great for keeping idle hands busy during casual conversations.

This course will start with the basics and caters to beginners of all ages. Youíll start with the basic stitches, working through to your first finished piece under your hostís tutelage.

A free beverage is also included as part of the course price. Bookings are essential.

Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The teacher was excellent and I learnt a lot. The venue was so noisy at the beginning that it was almost impossible to hear what she was saying.

For beginners I thought it was excellent. I have knitted before & did learn a few tips. I would have preferred to work with lighter wool, though, it was very heavy.

Had a great afternoon. Ali coped really well with a large group of 9 people with a range of abilities. Most had no prior knowledge of knitting. I made a beanie during the class and spent the evening at home practising my new skills.

Great class. Ali was very approachable, patient and knowledgeable. When we got frustrated, she was optimistic and very helpful. Would be interested in another class for the next stage of beginners to be introduced at Classie, if possible. Thanks Ali! Also, thank you for your assistance afterwards too. Regards, Sue

Great venue and well organised. My daughter and I found the class low stress and good value. We can now cast on and actually knit a beanie!
