Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.
Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers! We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations across the region.
New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month.
And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next one is!

Everyone was a a similar beginners level and mark explained the technical basics very well. In the fact the pre-read fact sheet that he sent out in advance was also excellent. It never felt like we had to “get it right”, he just told us a few things, we practiced them and asked questions and then we moved on to the next practice location.

Chris did an amazing job of explaining the content and then demonstrating using examples. Despite the variety of different camera models and brands present, he made sure everybody found the settings applicable to them.

Another really enjoyable photography session today at the Botanic Gardens with a great small group of individuals & instructor Chris Weisz. I have learnt so much going to these sessions & Chris is a great instructor as he takes the time to explain everything in "plain English," has a "wealth of knowledge" & "a lot of patience" 😁. Chris is excellent at explaining the fundamentals of the topic and then throughout the session helping you apply the knowledge to get the best shots. He makes sure all the participants are getting the most out of it. Everyone is very friendly and supportive with one another.

Mark is very passionate about photography and he s got all the answers to any question. I walk out at the end of the class with the infirmation I need to use the camera...which is exactly what I did the course for. I just use it if I go holiday somewhere but the info was clear and useful. Mark is very patient!

Loved it, I am getting to know more about taking great sunset photos and especially long exposures (something that I was always interested in learning). Also grateful to have had the opportunity to learn a bit of settings for Astrophotography. This session at Port Willunga was just awesome.
